About the position
As a Graphic Artist, you will be responsible for visual communication and the ability to transform ideas into compelling designs that captivate and engage our audience. You will play a pivotal role in creating visually stunning content for online campaigns, print ads, websites, and videos. Your creative flair, technical expertise, and collaborative mindset will contribute to the company’s visual identity and brand presence. Additionally, need to collaborate with the Resources Development team to design and integrate engaging graphics and visual aids into learning resources for enhanced educational experiences.
MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Conceptualise and design visually appealing content for various mediums, including websites, mobile applications, print materials, and social media platforms.
• Illustrate design concepts through art arrangement, typography, size, and style examples, seeking approval from stakeholders.
• Lead video production and editing efforts, applying artistic and technical skills to produce visually dynamic and informative content.
• Utilise industry-standard design software, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, Adobe Premiere Pro to craft innovative and captivating designs.
• Create original designs or modify existing assets to achieve a distinct visual identity for each project.
• Collaborate closely with copywriters, instructional designers, and the marketing team to effectively align visual designs with written content.
• Ensure all designs are user-friendly, visually pleasing, and intuitive to navigate.
• Stay current with the latest design trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritising tasks to meet project deadlines.
• Work collaboratively with team members, including developers and project managers, to ensure designs meet project specifications.
• Review final layouts and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
Experience & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of work experience as a graphic designer or in a related role.
• Strong portfolio showcasing demonstrable graphic design skills preferably with corporate brand experience.
• Proficiency in essential desktop publishing tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. Experience in Adobe Premiere Pro is a plus.
• Experience in creating web designs from scratch.
• Proficiency in video production and editing
• Keen eye for visual composition and attention to detail.
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Openness to giving and receiving constructive criticism.
• Understanding of marketing, branding, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design.
• Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
