Hours: Full-Time (40 hours/week), Graveyard Shift (PST)

Job Description:
We are searching for a skilled financial specialist to join our AP team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The AP specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

Key Responsibilities:
General accounting and support:
Maintain a schedule of container payments and barrel payments
Fixed asset maintenance and support monthly depreciation calculations
Assists with processing custom crush billing and other miscellaneous invoicing
Assists with preparation and filing of sales tax returns for CA
Provide QuickBooks entry support as needed
Enter, file and maintain accounting records – AP, AR, bank deposits, journal entries, etc.
Assist in monthly and annual close duties, preparation of unsecured property tax returns and other accounting projects, as assigned
Prepare audit files with great attention to detail
Prepare financial reports and other schedules monthly for review
Assist with GL maintenance and reconciliations and wine costing

Accounts Payable:
Manage flow of vendor invoices
Process employee travel and expense requests
Process weekly vendor check run
Input distributor billback invoices
Prepare 1099’s annually

Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
2+ years related experience and/or training
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
ERP system working knowledge
AMS/NetSuite experience desired, QuickBooks, Adaptive, InnoVint, BNA
Must handle confidential information with discretion and tact
Flexibility to work weekends and off hours when needed
Basic knowledge and appreciation of fine wines with a dedication to ongoing learning
Proficient in English, both written and verbal
Strong analytical skills and critical thinking
