SKUtopia is a cloud-based software solution allowing eCommerce businesses to manage orders across multiple storefronts, as well as inventory, shipping and warehousing all in one platform. On top of this, we’ll provide highly robotised 3PL services, which will use SKUtopia with our in-house leading computer vision and AI technology for fast delivery, quality control and accuracy.

About The Role

In this role you will:

Be responsible for general bookkeeping for the organisation
Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
Assisting in Month End Reconciliations and processes
Assisting in ad-hoc project work as required
Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software or databases then filing hard copies where relevant
Paying invoices and tracking bank account balances
Verifying the accuracy of business accounts and alerting the Accountant of errors
Recording any inconsistencies to help the Accountants reconcile inaccuracies
Support in developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Manage employee expense claims
Assist the Accountant with administrative duties and preparing yearly accounts

On a day-to-day basis, you can expect to:

Conduct daily banking reconciliations
Record transactions such as income and outgoings, and post them to various accounts
Process payments
Work on producing various financial reports
Reconcile reports to third-party records, such as bank statements

We think you will need:

Education or a qualification in Business, Commerce or Accounting
Must be a Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualified or actively pursuing the qualification
Good attention to detail to enter correct data into financial records and recognise errors
Multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage different financial duties, including the ability to prioritise tasks in order to meet deadlines
Interpersonal and customer service skills for dealing with customers, suppliers and other employees
Flexibility to take on various duties
Advanced excel skills and strong mathematics skills
Highly driven – Motivation and the ability to get stuff done
Ideally you will be available immediately
