Junior Copywriter & Email Marketeer for an educational company based in Germany

What you will do operationally:

Copywriting
– You will write all listings for our products on Amazon and Shopify to appeal to our customers and the respective indexing algorithms.
– This means specifically creating product listings for Amazon and Shopify, including copywriting & editing, setting up A+ content, image editing and – keyword research & implementation.
– Write blog posts that connect to our products, vision, and mission and are useful for our target group.
– Co-develop a content marketing strategy targeting psychologists, coaches & educators.
– You can already use ChatGPT or other AI tools (prompt design) to 10x your output while being able to be the ‘editor’ of the AI.
– Create copies and captions for our social media platforms, e.g. Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

Email marketing
– Codevelop an email marketing strategy using the software Drip. You will use your ingenuity to develop sequences of marketing emails that will engage our potential customers, returning customers, etc.
– Write marketing emails that connect with our customers and execute the marketing strategy.

Product writing
– Writing & proofreading texts for and with product development as many of our new products have text-heavy elements (e.g. product literature)
– Preparing the document, reviewing texts, and communicating with external translators.
What you will do strategically with the rest of the team:
– Do market research for our different brands (on the website you only find metaFox) to identify clearly our target audiences.
– Create marketing strategies for our brands using different marketing tools and channels.
– Identify new ways of marketing to our target audiences, experiment, fail, learn, and eventually succeed.
– Set up data analytics to make our efforts more data-driven
– Competitor analysis of brands and products to shape our product development with new insights

What a background could look like:
– Experience and education in writing (e.g. study of literature or professional copywriter).
– Knowledge of e-commerce and related marketing areas.
– Have experience or interest in psychology & personal development and develop an understanding of our psychology target group as well as coaching & training methods.
– Have a good understanding of technical SEO and experience using an SEO tool like Ubersuggest.
Happily welcome but not a requirement:
– Basic design skills to handle Canva.

– Close-knit team who support each other. We are a global community that motivates each team member to be their best.
– Reliable compensation that goes directly to your account. There is a 3-month probation period with a monthly compensation of Php30,000. Afterwards, you have the option to join us full-time with a regular salary and benefits including paid holidays, 13th-month pay, sick leaves, etc.
– Work when you want. We understand that some of us are early birds while others prefer the late afternoons or evenings. Your work schedule is up to you! Trust is a core value within the team and so is responsibility and accountability. This is one reason why we do not have time tracking. As this is a full-time position, we expect a 40-hour work week. The metaFox team currently has members working in Germany and in the Philippines.

– We support personal and organizational development by providing training on relevant self-development topics (e.g., mindfulness, communication, emotional intelligence, etc.).
