The Junior Creative Director will work on diverse creative projects for physical ecommerce brands and products.
You will be working directly with the CMO and the marketing team to help develop the aesthetic vision of our brands from product design and packaging to media presence. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual identity, creative strategy, and brand presence across our portfolio of e-commerce brands. Great art direction sensibility is a must, as is a willingness to take on tasks that may fall outside of a traditional creative director role, in order to support the entire team. You must be well organized while constantly looking for ways to improve. We are seeking a creative visionary who can lead and inspire a team of talented designers and marketers to push the boundaries of creative excellence while maintaining a consistent brand image and message.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Creative Strategy: Develop and execute the overall creative vision for our brands, ensuring alignment with brand values and business goals.
– Leadership: Lead and manage a team to foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.
– Brand Development: Create and maintain brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all visual and written communication materials.
– Campaigns and Product Launches: Oversee the creative process for advertising campaigns, product launches, and promotions, from concept to execution.
– Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to inform creative decisions and keep our brands competitive.
– Content Creation: Drive the creation/curation of high-quality content, including images, videos, and written materials, that resonate with our target audience.
– Cross-Brand Collaboration: Collaborate with marketing teams to ensure creative assets align with brand strategies.

ADVANTAGE SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:
– Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) & similar tools (Canva, Capcut)
– Develop ideas and generate designs that adhere to brand guidelines and any established brand standards, and that are consistent with creative brief
– Excellent showcase in Brand Design, Packaging Design, Digital Design for Ecommerce
– Participate in all aspects of the design process including conceptual ideation and innovation; visual positioning imagery and mood boards; brand identity, collateral, assets, materials, signage design—including all executional considerations
– Consider the impact of not only visual design but also design thinking and the human experience
– Juggle multiple projects and understand how to determine project priorities
– Proactively check in with the team to stay aligned on project approach
– Proactively build knowledge of brands with target market considerations
– Positive contributor to the overall company culture

ABOUT THE COMPANY:
The team is made of extraordinary people who thrive on solving difficult problems and building enduring products for ecommerce. Currently, our e-commerce business operates multiple DTC brands on Amazon, Shopify, Etsy and Ebay in North America. We have currently have 8 full-time team members. Our offices are 3500sqft with a studio for creative work. We’re growing fast and are seeking new team members that are curious, free-thinking, and determined to make an impact.
