Job Summary: As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing user interfaces for our web applications. You will work closely with senior developers and designers to deliver high-quality and visually appealing user experiences. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the development team to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and appealing user interfaces.
Write clean, efficient, and maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.
Implement responsive designs and ensure compatibility across different browsers and devices.
Develop and integrate front-end components and libraries to enhance the user experience.
Conduct thorough testing and debugging to identify and resolve performance and functionality issues.
Work closely with designers to ensure seamless integration of UI/UX designs into the web application.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices in frontend development.
Assist in optimizing web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including backend developers and project managers, to ensure timely project delivery.
Contribute to code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality and adherence to coding standards.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with
Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.
Understanding of browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain code quality.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest frontend development trends and technologies.
Technical Requirements: Having a system ready for a work-from-home set-up is imperative for this position. A fully functioning laptop/PC running on Windows 10 or higher or Mac OS High Sierra 10.13.4 or higher and a wired internet connection.
