Junior SEO Specialist

We are a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) agency based in the US, looking to add an entry level SEO Specialist to our team.

We’re searching for someone who is positive, eager to learn (continually), a problem solver, self-starter, and who loves to teach others. The Junior SEO Specialist will analyze, review, and implement changes on customer websites to maximize traffic and conversions by improving page rankings and visibility within major search engines.

This is a junior position. No experience is necesarry. You will be trained. If you have a strong interest in learning technology and marketing, this is a great opportunity.

Requirements:
– Detail oriented with an exceptional understanding of quantitative analytics
– Strong project management skills
– Able to communicate SEO clearly to non-technical people (i.e. customers)
– Work independently and proactively with minimal direction and / or supervision
– Strong written and verbal communication in English

The responsibilities described below do not represent a comprehensive list for this position. Additional tasks may be assigned periodically as necessitated by business demands.

Responsibilities:
– Perform competitive analysis and keyword research to build actionable SEO strategies
– Perform audits to identify issues and ensure sites are properly optimized
– Manage client campaigns, ensure work is completed correctly (to best practices) and on time
– Prepare monthly reports and communicate with clients to ensure strategy is correct, complete, and to maintain a 5-star customer experience
– Deploy effective local and long-tail search strategy
– Outline content strategy using SEO best practices
– On-page optimizations (title tags, meta descriptions, page formatting, internal linking, etc.)
– Off-page optimizations (external linking, obtain high authority backlinks, Google Business profiles, citations, etc.)
– Optimize pages (blog, location, service, etc
– Forecast trends and determine how they will impact future traffic
