Junior UX/UI Designer – nif Digital Team

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled UX/UI Designer with expertise in designing marketing and e-commerce websites, specifically using either WordPress or Shopify. As a UI Designer, you will play a key role in creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that enhance brand presence and drive conversions. You should have a strong understanding of user-centered design principles and be proficient in designing for a range of devices and platforms. Your role will involve collaborating closely with our design and development teams to create outstanding digital experiences. Responsibilities:

– Create visually stunning user interfaces consistent with the brands design system
– Understand client requirements and translate them into intuitive and aesthetically pleasing designs
– Design wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions
– Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines throughout the design process
– Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs
– Conduct user research and incorporate user feedback into design iterations
– Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines
– Advocate for a user-centered design approach and contribute to design discussions and critiques
– Help leaders understand the connection between research, customer insights, and design solutions from ideation to execution

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
– Proven experience as a UI Designer, with a focus on marketing and e-commerce websites
– Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, ProtoPie, or similar
– Strong portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of user-centered design principles and exceptional visual design skills
– Experience designing for either WordPress or Shopify platforms
– Familiarity with responsive web design principles and mobile optimization
– Basic Understanding of front-end technologies and their impact on design (HTML, CSS, etc.)
– Excellent communication and collaboration skills
– Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
– Ability to balance creativity with practicality in design solutions
