Job Description

The Jr. Virtual Accountant is responsible for the timely and accurate recording of transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and ensures maintenance of up-to-date books of accounts of each client to facilitate preparation of financial statements and other management reports to be used in making financial and operational decisions.

RESPONSBILITIES

Providing Bookkeeping & Accounting support to a variety of internal and external stakeholders which includes but not limited to:
o Bank Reconciliations
o Processing of deposits and payments
o Processing of supplier invoices and reconciliation at month end
o Payroll, Superannuation, Workers Compensation workings and reconciliation
o Maintenance of Fixed Assets Ledger
o Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Reconciliation and Working Papers Schedules
o Preparation of Customer Invoices and printing of Customer Statements
o Preparation of Ad Hoc Reports
o Preparation of working papers for BAS and IAS
o Preparation of working papers for Company, Trust and Individual Tax Returns
o Maintaining daily time sheets

Others:
• Strictly adheres to the Company Guidelines.
• Represents the Company in a professional manner outside the office.
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned from time to time.
• Strictly adheres to the best interest of the Company thru proper usage of company assets and resources

REQUIREMENTS
-With at least 1 to 2 years of accounting & bookkeeping experience
-Must be a CPA (Philippines)
-Proficiency in accounting software (Xero, Quickbooks, MYOB, etc.)
-Excellent communication skills
-Can work with team/Independently and responsibly under pressure
-At least 20mbps internet speed
-Proficient in computer systems including financial systems, databases, internet applications, and MS Office tools, with advanced Excel skills preferred
