Responsibilities:
– Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of email marketing campaigns using Klaviyo’s robust platform, from initial ideation to deployment and performance analysis.
– Collaborate closely with marketing stakeholders to understand campaign objectives, target audience segments, and messaging strategies, translating these insights into compelling visual designs that align with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
– Develop dynamic email templates, graphics, and multimedia content that enhance engagement, promote brand awareness, and drive conversion actions, leveraging Klaviyo’s template editor and design tools to create personalized, mobile-responsive experiences.
– Implement best practices for email design, including layout optimization, typography, imagery selection, and interactive elements, to create visually impactful and user-friendly email experiences that resonate with recipients and drive desired actions.
– Conduct A/B testing and performance analysis to optimize design elements, messaging variations, and user experience factors, using data-driven insights to iterate on design strategies and enhance campaign effectiveness.
– Stay abreast of industry trends, design innovations, and email marketing best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to innovate and elevate our email design capabilities to deliver world-class experiences.
Requirements:
– Proven track record of success in designing and executing visually compelling email marketing campaigns within the Klaviyo platform, with a portfolio showcasing your design expertise and the ability to drive measurable results. Please provide examples.
– Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma) and experience creating custom email templates, graphics, and multimedia content for email campaigns.
– Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, including mobile-responsive design principles, accessibility standards, and user experience considerations for email engagement.
– Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, articulate design concepts and rationale, and incorporate feedback to achieve desired outcomes.
– Detail-oriented mindset, with a focus on quality assurance, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines in all aspects of design execution.
– Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with a passion for staying ahead of design trends, learning new techniques, and pushing the boundaries of email marketing design excellence.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience working in ecommerce or direct-to-consumer (DTC) industries, with a solid understanding of ecommerce marketing strategies and customer engagement tactics.
– Knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience with email coding for custom template creation and optimization.
– Familiarity with email deliverability best practices, compliance regulations (CAN-SPAM, GDPR), and email testing tools.
– Experience with other email marketing platforms and marketing automation tools is a plus.
