About the Position
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Knowledgebase Writer to join our team at BisectHosting. As a Knowledgebase Writer, you will be responsible for creating engaging, accurate, and informative written content for our knowledgebase and other support materials related to the games we host. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, a deep understanding of the gaming industry, and a knack for breaking down complex concepts into easily understandable content. Prior experience with games is an absolute requirement for this position.
Responsibilities
– Create and maintain high-quality written content for our knowledgebase
– Conduct research and gather information to ensure accuracy and completeness of content
– Collaborate with support and customer service teams to identify areas of improvement and address common customer concerns
– Maintain and update existing content to ensure relevance and accuracy over time
– Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, news, and releases in the gaming industry to ensure that our content remains relevant and helpful for our customers
– Actively contribute to the development of new content and strategies to enhance our knowledge base and support materials
– Assist with training and onboarding new knowledgebase writing staff, as needed
Qualifications
– 1+ years of experience in technical writing or content creation, preferably in the gaming industry
– Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to break down complex topics into easy-to-understand language
– In-depth knowledge of the games we host and the gaming industry as a whole
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
– Experience with video editing and creation is a plus
– Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other web design tools is a plus
