Job Description

Welcome to My Simple Land. Our business buys and sells vacant land on the East Coast in the United States. We only specialize in vacant land, and do not sell any other type of real estate. We have been in business for just over three years and are looking to bring on someone to help us move to the next level.
Right now we are looking to add an Acquisition Specialist to handle all of our outbound text messaging. In this role, you’d be sending out batches of text messages to potential sellers, responding to their messages, and qualifying them for a potential sale.
You will be required to speak to new seller leads, quickly analyze a property to see if it is worth pursuing and working with our acquisitions director. You will also be updating (Key Performance Indicators) KPI’s, utilizing a land-specialized CRM and Launch Control (texting platform)
We are looking for somebody with ambition and who has real sales ability. Please do not apply if this is not you!
Outside of excellent english skills, experience using Launch Control is highly preferred. Land specialized knowledge is not required, but would be a plus.
Our business requires that you develop a deep understanding of the vacant land market in the United States. We will provide training on this, but you must be motivated to learn. We also require that you learn how to run comparable sales comps on land to figure out how to price our offers.
Many of the sellers have very specific questions about real estate and the closing process when we purchase the land from them. It’s our expectation that you’ll spend the first week on the job working with our Acquisitions Director to learn how best to navigate these conversations.

Soft Skills needed…
Native-level speaking and writing English
Highly driven for sales (the more you close, the more you are paid)
Attention to detail (notes of the calls must be added to the CRM).
Kind and empathetic.
Prior sales experience is a plus.
Willingness to learn and push your comfort level

Technical Skills needed…
1) Managing leads in a CRM (we will train you on our specific CRM)
2) Familiar with G Suite. (docs, sheets, etc…)
6) Launch Control (or similar texting service)

Schedule:
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week, position working during normal East Coast, United States business hours.
