Join Our Team as a Laravel Software Developer!

We’re a small, dynamic software development agency based in Perth, Western Australia (that’s the same time zone as you!) and we’re on the lookout for a full-time Laravel developer to join our team.

THE TECHNICAL STUFF…

Obviously with any software developer role there are some things that are absolutely required – for us these are:

– A solid grip on Laravel and the willingness to work on both new and existing projects
– Basic familiarity with MySQL and database normalization
– A good grasp of HTML & CSS and willingness to embrace accessibility best practices
– The ability to work with JavaScript frameworks where necessary (for example, ). We don’t need you to know the framework already, but experience using *some* framework (or willingness to self-learn) would be ideal.
– A working knowledge of GIT/GitHub (or the willingness to learn rapidly).

– Critical analysis skills: We need someone who has the ability to look at the requirements of a project and commit to deeply understanding WHY we are doing something, to help us identify inconsistencies or potential challenges.
– A healthy respect for debugging: We’re looking for a team member who will approach bugs with a systematic and analytical mindset, to help us identify the root cause of issues and make sure they are both fixed, and avoided in future.
– Clear and prompt communication: Our team is small and distributed, which means communication is extra important. We request that our team maintain strong and regular communication through Slack and (where necessary) Zoom.

– 13th Month: In line with Filipino employment standards, we offer a 13th month payment to all Filipino employees who have been with us for at least three months.
