Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Lead Generation Specialist to join our team at Bigger Than Basketball, a leading basketball apparel brand. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating leads by scraping email lists, executing mass cold-email campaigns, and reaching out via direct messages (DMs) on social media platforms. This role requires excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to lead generation. Our goal is to reach out to every youth basketball team around the world to offer custom uniform packages to teams.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Lead Generation:**
– Utilize various tools and methods to scrape email lists and gather contact information of basketball teams, clubs, and organizations.
– Identify potential leads within the basketball community, including schools, amateur teams, recreational leagues, and professional organizations.

2. **Cold-Email Campaigns:**
– Design and implement effective cold-email campaigns to introduce our brand and products to potential leads.
– Customize email templates to resonate with different segments of the basketball community, highlighting the value proposition of our apparel.

3. **Social Media Outreach:**
– Reach out to basketball teams and influencers on social media platforms such as Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook.
– Engage with prospects through direct messages (DMs), initiating conversations about our brand and exploring partnership opportunities.

4. **Relationship Building:**
– Build and nurture relationships with leads through ongoing communication and follow-ups.
– Gather feedback and insights from prospects to continually improve our outreach strategies and product offerings.

5. **Data Management:**
– Maintain accurate records of lead information, interactions, and outcomes using CRM software or other designated tools.
– Analyze data and metrics to assess the effectiveness of lead generation efforts and adjust strategies accordingly.

**Qualifications:**
– Proven experience in lead generation, preferably in the sports apparel or related industry.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messages tailored to different audiences.
– Familiarity with email marketing platforms and CRM software for managing leads and campaigns.
– Strong understanding of basketball culture, including knowledge of teams, players, and trends within the sport.
– Self-motivated and proactive approach to prospecting and outreach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving and exceeding targets.
