We are seeking a proactive and driven individual to join our Marketing Team as a Lead Generator. Reporting to the Group Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for initiating contact with potential leads, cold messaging using an omni channel approach and nurturing relationships to generate sales opportunities. Your primary objective will be to connect with target customers for all SDDE group brands, introduce our products/services, and schedule appointments or hand off qualified leads to the sales team.
Responsibilities:
1. Lead Identification: Conduct market research and utilise various resources to identify potential leads in the target market, including industries, companies, and key contacts. Also support with running recruitment campaigns sourcing and reaching potential candidates with the same approach.
2. Prospecting: Use various channels such as email, social media and offline and online marketing to reach out to leads and initiate conversations.
3. Qualification: Engage with leads to understand their needs, challenges, and interest in our offerings, ensuring they meet the defined criteria as potential customers.
4. Relationship Building: Nurture relationships with leads through regular communication, providing relevant information, and addressing inquiries to build trust and credibility.
5. Product/Service Introduction: Effectively communicate the value proposition of our products/services, highlighting key features and benefits that align with the needs of the leads.
6. Appointment Setting: Collaborate with the sales team to schedule appointments, product demonstrations, or meetings with qualified leads, ensuring a smooth handoff.
7. Lead Management: Update and maintain accurate records of lead interactions, activities, and progress in CRM software to track performance and provide regular reports.
8. Follow-up and Follow-through: Proactively follow up with leads, track their progress through the sales pipeline, and provide necessary support to move them towards conversion.
9. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to adapt lead generation strategies and improve effectiveness.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in lead generation, sales development, or a related role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage leads effectively and build rapport.
• Excellent research and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using CRM software, productivity tools, and various communication platforms.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and meet or exceed assigned targets.
• Adaptability and resilience to handle rejection and persist in lead generation efforts.
• Knowledge of the industry or market segment relevant to the company’s offerings is a plus.
• Familiarity with ESG principles and sustainability practices would be advantageous.
