Job Description

We’re a growing family-owned business (14 years) in South Carolina, USA looking for an energetic, ambitious, and extremely well-spoken appointment setter to generate appointments for us.

Please note, our successful candidate must have NO ACCENT / NEUTRAL AMERICAN ACCENT. If you have this ability then please read on!

This position has three primary responsibilities:

1. Daily follow up with vehicle sellers in our local geography who have listed their vehicles for sale on classified sites.
2. Gathering details about their vehicle, appraising the vehicles, and providing the seller a price range for which we would purchase the vehicle.
3. Inviting the seller in to get an exact offer from us to sell their vehicle.

Our business and our industry are quickly evolving, and we need someone who is willing to be flexible, learn new processes and softwares when needed, and, from time to time, have minor changes in job responsibilities as the business requires. After an extended period of growth over the last couple years, we’re now focusing on systematizing and adding efficiency to our current operation.

We communicate with email, phone and Zoom when needed, and we provide documented work instructions via Google Docs and Loom videos.

To go a step deeper regarding job responsibilities, on a daily basis our Lead Generator / Appointment Setter will follow a very well-defined process we’ve created. He or she will search vehicle listings from individuals who have listed their vehicles for sale (there are dozens of vehicles listed daily in our local geography). Then you will contact the sellers to learn details about their vehicles and get their phone numbers. You’ll analyze their vehicle’s value with our training, and contact them back to provide a range of value for their vehicle, then invite them into our store to get an exact offer. You’ll document your communication and appointment dates / times. Then we’ll personally close deals and pay you an additional bonus for each vehicle we purchase!

Our owner is the Vice President of the Carolina Independent Auto Dealer’s Association, and she and her husband (that’s me!) are members of a automotive dealer 20 Group which means we meet face-to-face three times per year with other dealers around the country for deep business reviews and discussions regarding improving our business operations. We’re focused and dedicated to running an efficient, profitable and upstanding organization, and we want to have a long-term relationship with a loyal and capable Appointment Setter to help us achieve that.
