The Firm:
The Noble Law Firm is a technologically advanced law firm, leveraging digital capabilities to gain advantage for our Clients. Maintaining the accuracy and completeness of the Firm’s case management and general ledger system through data entry, document management, analysis and reporting are paramount to the success of our Clients.
All of our attorneys and staff are devoted to maintaining comprehensive, up- to- date case management data in order enjoy the benefits of real-time enterprise- wide information.
Role:
The Legal Assistant reports directly to Laura Noble. The primary responsibility is to provide administrative support to Legal Services, in addition to maintaining the workplace, supply management and coordinating meeting events.
This role requires a balanced blend of independent problem-solving, accountability and collaboration with colleagues and stakeholders. Excellent internal and external communications are essential. Critical to this position are positive communication skills and interactions between all firm members as well as clients, vendors and visitors to the firm.
Responsibilities:
Legal Services
Coordinate and support current client legal representation, develop trust in client relationships.
• First point of contact for legal services incoming calls by established clients and general communications.
• Upload Court docket reports into document management platform.
• Assist in document management.
• Manage transmittal of all documentation in and out of the office and notifying appropriate legal teams.
• Schedule court reporters/videographers for depositions.
• Assign overflow work to Operations Assistant with full disclosure of expectations including:
• Due dates
• Matter details
• Who to turn work in to
• Provide any needed direction on legal related work
Administrative
• Develop trust in client relationships, obtain additional contact information, schedule calls via telephone and/or video conferencing. Role and Responsibilities
Skills Required:
Must be able to work 9:00 am – 5:00 pm US Eastern Time.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience as Legal Assistant
Highly organized with a disposition for giving attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook with the desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job.
Excellent problem-solving and listening skills.
Experience with collaboration technology (Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Dialpad, Calendar Hero).
Ability to effectively prioritize competing projects and responsibilities with minimum guidance.
Self-starter who consistently delivers error-free work.
Effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to write substantive communication.
Excellent time-management skills.
Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
