We are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Real Estate Contracts and Transactions Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in real estate law, with a strong track record in drafting and reviewing various types of real estate contracts. This role will involve working closely with clients, internal teams, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of real estate transactions and contracts. Additionally, expertise in estate planning is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

Real Estate Contract Drafting and Review:
Skillfully draft and review real estate contracts for both residential and commercial transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Conduct comprehensive reviews of contract terms, identifying potential issues and suggesting improvements.

Title Commitment Review and Title Objection Letters:
Carefully review title commitments to identify any discrepancies, concerns, or potential risks.
Draft title objection letters to address and resolve title-related matters effectively.

Operating Agreements and Membership Interest Agreements:
Prepare and review operating agreements for limited liability companies (LLCs) and limited partnerships (LPs).
Draft and review agreements related to the assignment of membership interest for LLCs.

Lender Opinion Letters:
Draft opinion letters tailored to lenders for commercial real estate loans, providing legal analysis and assurance.

Real Estate Closings and Documents:
Draft, review, and ensure the accuracy of documents required for real estate closings.
Collaborate with clients, agents, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless closings.

Construction Contracts and Leases:
Review and draft construction contracts, leases, and other agreements related to real estate transactions.
Ensure these documents accurately represent the interests of all parties involved.

Estate Planning Expertise:
Apply your expertise in estate planning to offer valuable insights and guidance to clients and internal teams.
Participate in discussions related to estate planning strategies and considerations.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2+ years of experience specializing in real estate law, contract drafting, and transactions.
Understanding of real estate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and meticulous review capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
Experience in estate planning is highly desirable.
