Role: Legal Assistant
We are seeking a highly intelligent and motivated Legal Administrative to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our day-to-day operations, particularly in managing “Minute Books” software for our corporate clients, ensuring all meeting notes are meticulously recorded and organized. Additionally, this position will play a crucial role in managing the inbox of our lead attorney, drafting and organizing emails, and assisting with general administrative tasks. While this role does not involve drafting legal documents, it is essential that the candidate has a legal background or understanding of the legal industry to effectively support our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and organize “Minute Books” software, ensuring all meeting notes for our 500 corporate clients are accurately recorded and maintained.
Efficiently manage the lead attorney’s inbox, including drafting basic emails, organizing emails, and ensuring timely responses to clients and partners.
Legal Research, Client Interaction, File Management and Meeting Preparation.
Assist in various administrative tasks, including small reporting tasks in QuickBooks (training provided).
Collaborate with our legal team to ensure seamless operation and communication within the firm.
Take initiative in problem-solving and improving administrative processes.
Qualifications:
Strong legal background or understanding of the corporate law and estate planning sectors or Paralegal
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients and legal professionals.
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Experience with “Minute Books” software or willingness to learn.
Familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus, but not required (training will be provided).
Handled US/ Canada based client
Proficiency in legal research, Microsoft Office Suite, and document management systems.
Experience and knowledge on the following tools and software is a plus but not required:

Lastpass
