Louisiana plaintiff’s lawyer firm that specializes primarily in personal injury law is seeking an enthusiastic Legal Blog Writer.
We are seeking a talented and creative Legal Blog Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with our managing attorney and SEO team to craft engaging and SEO-optimized blog posts that resonate with our target audience. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for transcribing videos shot by the managing attorney and converting them into informative blog posts. The role will also involve posting the content on the law firm’s Wix website and social media pages: Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Page, and LinkedIn, among others. Social Media marketing experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with our SEO team to develop blog post topics and content strategies
– Write engaging and SEO-optimized blog posts on topics such as personal injury, car accidents, hurricane damage claims, and workers’ compensation
– Transcribe videos shot by our team and convert them into well-written blog posts
– Conduct research on legal topics and stay updated on industry trends
– Ensure all content is accurate, informative, and aligns with our brand voice and messaging
– Edit and proofread blog posts to ensure clarity, grammar, and coherence
– Optimize blog posts for search engines and incorporate relevant keywords
– Work independently and meet deadlines consistently
Requirements:
– Proven experience in legal writing, preferably in the personal injury or related field
– Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
– Strong understanding of SEO principles and keyword optimization
– Experience with or similar programs
– Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content
– Proficiency in transcribing videos and converting them into written content
– Attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough research
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Prior experience with Wix, WordPress, or other content management systems is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field is preferred
Notes:
– $10/hour
– 5 hours per week at first, potential for more hours depending on performance
– Trial period to make sure it’s the right fit
