Mission of Legal Intake Specialist:
Our clients’ law practice is rapidly growing and seeking a full-time legal intake specialist to join their team! You’ll survey prospective clients and empathize with them on the details of their case, manage new client onboarding and data entry. They’ll provide the training and resources to help you flourish in your role on a tight-knit, supportive, and passionate legal team. Full time, EST time zone Be available during business hours to communicate responsively with your direct supervisor and teammates
Working hours will follow a flexible schedule, amounting to 40 hours per week. This flexibility will be available anytime between Monday and Sunday from 9:00am – 9:00pm EST.

Expectations for Performance:
In your first 30 days on the job:
You will have a great training process for the first 30 days. In the first 2 weeks, you will be in an intensive training program with a few other new team members. You will be in a cohort going through a laid-out training program that talks about the cases, the culture of the company, their EOS model, and other important pieces to the job. In the next 2 weeks, you will be shadowed by an experienced team member while you practice calls, handle potential clients via Instagram, look at web forms, and directly learn from someone in the legal intake position.
Then you will slowly ramp up. They will help you to understand how to handle the call properly, and how to pass clients to correct routes while making sure you are reliable and performing your duties well on your own.
Outcomes // KPI’S:
You will screen incoming potential client phone calls to make sure the case falls within the scope of the firm while helping the caller feel heard and understood
You will collect and document essential information from clients, such as:
personal details
contact information
case types
any other relevant data specific to the client’s needs.
Handle conversations via phone call or on social media
You must be able to organize information from clients accurately
You will help foster prospective client streams by providing input into awareness and law firm partnership initiatives alongside the marketing team
You must meet quality standards established by the organization.
Consistently show up on time for your shifts
Communicate ahead of time if you will be unavailable due to sickness or emergency
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a legal intake call center or customer service call center
Background in the legal industry preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Firm knowledge of spreadsheet and data management, as well as computer skills; Preferably salesforce
Previous experience with CRM and case management software desired
Possesses outstanding communication skills and a sense of empathy
Great English – written and orally
