Law & Medical Article Writers (Hiring 3 full-time workers)

We are hiring 3 candidates for a position to research & write about a variety of personal injury topics in the state of New York. Actual experience and writing samples are required. This is a very heavy research intensive position to write factual, SEO-optimized articles pertaining to a variety of these legal topics
We are a personal injury firm looking to grow our blog. You are the first step in the process of content creation. We will provide topics to you daily and you will research, cite, write, and optimize the post for SEO standards. These articles will get sent to our legal & medical reviewer for final confirmation. You can use ChatGPT to assist the writing process, but if the articles read like they are AI-written, that is a no-go. Again, your job is supposed to be very research focused & answer the user intent of what somebody is searching. This will be explained more when hired. We will work with you very closely to make sure you understand the process. We have documented everything we need done.
The ideal candidate has excellent legal research, legal writing, and communication skills.
This position can be completed in any work hours, remote, and is asynchronous. You will be assigned tasks daily and have to complete them by the next day. You will not be micro-monitored after you’ve been trained on how to complete articles. In doing so, we will only hire candidates that can demonstrate quality content and discipline.
**Skills Required:**
– Able to read and understand complicated subjects and explain them in coherent writing
– Stellar command of written English
– General work attitude: bright and motivated to learn, creative, energetic, flexible
– Mention the word Eric when you apply anywhere in the application so I know you’ve read this. Applications won’t be read if you don’t.
– Looking for someone who can work autonomously & is proactive
– Previous experience in business, legal, or medical writing is a huge plus and will take priority over those without experience
**Salary:**
– $800/usd without experience
– $1000/usd with experience
– We have 3 rolls to fill
– You will be paid biweekly
– 1 day of PTO for each month worked. Full list of benefits on hire
This is a full-time position at 40 hours a week. Must know how to use Google drive, slack, and notion. The application will only be looked at if you apply through our Google Form link. Anything else will be ignored.
If selected to move on, we will ask you to complete 3 full-length research-based & SEO optimized about the 3 categories we are looking to hire in. **The expected full-time start for this role is between the 11th of September and 18th of September.**
