We are looking for a highly skilled Legal Specialist to oversee our business’s legal agreements. As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing and drafting of sales agreements and contracts with our external clients. The ideal candidate should have a law degree and a comprehensive understanding of common business law as well as common law. The candidate will provide counsel to our sales team on the company’s policy regarding sales contracts. Responsibilities:
– Draft and solidify legal documents such as business contracts and agreements with our external clients to ensure the company’s policies on deals are being observed by our sales team when conducting deals.
– Dissect and interpret various types of legal documents to help the company reach fair agreements with clients and customers.
– Help our sales team negotiate transaction documents and negotiate better terms on transactions and sales.
– Offer legal guidance to top management on important legal matters and provide clarification on legal language or specifications.
– Stay abreast of legal changes and support the growth of the company’s legal knowledge base.
– Ensure adherence to internal controls, legal requirements, and other formalities.
– Help improve our procedures with ideas and suggestions to improve the quality of the deals made by our sales team.
Requirements:
– Law degree obtained in any country. (this will be verified)
– 2-3 years of experience working as a legal advisor in a business environment. (references will be required)
– Advanced comprehension of business law. (this will be tested)
– Significant transactional experience is a major asset.
– High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
– Displayed proficiency in using arbitration and mediation techniques to develop proactive and sustainable solutions.
– Good organizational, research and time-management skills.
– Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
– Total mastery of the English language, oral and written.
