Lens Order Specialist For Online Optical Store

The Lens Order Specialist is responsible for managing the ordering of prescription lenses for an online optical store. This position requires a thorough understanding of different types of lenses and their features, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. Having precious experience would be great but we will have training.

Key Daily Responsibilities:

1. Understanding our back end systems
2. Selecting appropriate lenses based on the customer’s prescription and orders they have made
3. Placing orders for lenses with manufacturers and distributors.
4. Tracking orders to ensure timely delivery.
5. Communicating with managers for any delays and issues
6. Collaborating with other staff members to ensure seamless customer service.

Requirements:
• Previous experience in optical or related industries is preferred but not required, as we will provide training for the right candidate.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately input data is a must.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, managers, and team members.
• A solid understanding of different types of lenses and their features is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Fluent in English.

Working Conditions:
• This is a full-time position, with work hours scheduled from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM EST.
• The job is remote and requires access to a reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace.
• This position is a contract employment.
• You will be required to use various software and tools to manage orders and communicate with customers and team members. Training will be provided for these tools.
• You will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You will be working in a customer-oriented role, which requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries and issues professionally and promptly.
