Job Description

The desktop support person is an integral part of the IT/Operations department and requires a commitment
to customer service through quality, courtesy, technical expertise, and teamwork. You will be accountable for
providing local and remote technical support to staff in the PH office and Australia . You are also accountable
for identifying and resolving root cause issues and driving a positive trend in our service levels, while
simultaneously assisting users in solving their day-to-day desktop support issues. Experience working with
Wordpress, Hubspot, Xero, and Handisoft Accounting software would be a big PLUS.

Responsibilities:

– Provide onsite and remote support using a variety of remote access tools.
– Respond to queries and service requests using our helpdesk ticketing system.
– Communicate regularly and effectively with users regarding ticket requests.
– Create and maintain IT documentation.
– Troubleshoot, install, configure, and deploy desktop, laptop, server, mobile devices and hardware and peripherals such as monitors, printers, disk drives scanners, etc.
– Install new software, upgrades, and patches and resolve software-related problems for Windows, Mac, IOS, Android OS.
– Educate and train users on company-provided software, network services and policies.
– Track and manage hardware and software inventory to ensure compliance and maximize productivity of employees across the company.
– Active Directory/Azure identity management including distribution lists and security groups.
– Provide after-hours weekday and weekend phone/remote coverage as needed

Qualifications:
– 2+ years of technical support for PC, Mac, software and network systems.
– 2+ years of experience with Windows Server technology, Microsoft O365/Azure management.
– Proficient in computer hardware, software, and peripherals.
– Familiarity with IT standards and protocols.
-Understanding of customer service best practices.
– Diagnosis and troubleshooting expertise for IT issues.
– Ability to communicate technical information in an understandable form for non-technical recipients
