We are seeking a skilled and experienced Level 3 Infrastructure Technician to join our team. As a Level 3 Infrastructure Technician, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our company’s infrastructure systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of our infrastructure, as well as providing technical support to our users. This position requires advanced technical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
Minimum certifications required include Microsoft certifications and Cisco Certified Network Associate.
Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect and interact with clients at all levels of proficiency.
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience with Networks and Server administration is required.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft terminal server 2016/2019/2022, Microsoft operating systems (server & desktop), office 365,
Azure Infrastructure solutions, Microsoft exchange, active directory, SQL server and virtualized environment (VMware).
Phyton scripting knowledge is highly desirable.
Demonstrated hardware fault resolution on Servers, PCs, Network peripherals and mobile devices.
Demonstrated ability to provide level 2 support for networks, firewalls routing switching and security.
Ability to work unsupervised as well as in a team environment. You will be a good team player and enjoy sharing information and collaborating with other team members
Responsibilities
Design, build and maintain cloud infrastructure environment including voice gateways, Azure virtual desktops, FxLogic profiles, Azure Host pools, virtual private networks, Windows and Linux servers, DHCP, DNS, firewalls & internet gateways.
Manage & Install IT & Network infrastructure equipment including Servers, Firewalls, Routers, Switches, Wireless Access Points, Phone Systems, Access Control Systems & CCTV systems.
Manage and support Office 365 exchange servers, Active directory, Microsoft teams, group policies & share point.
Migrate, provision and support Enterprise Ethernet solutions, business internet, hosted SIP lines, cellular voice, and data solutions.
Provide technical support to clients remotely and on site.
Perform network monitoring, testing, upgrades and configuration.
Monitor & report on system availability, performance & security.
Perform system updates outside office hours when required.
Administration of backups and disaster recovery planning and testing.
Ad-hoc IT project support when required.
Liaise and interface with enterprise service providers.
Maintain an IT asset register.
Be proactive in identifying areas of efficiency improvement, both in IT and Telecommunication.
Must be flexible in supporting clients and service providers in different time zones.
Time Zone: Australian Business Hours
