5K (formerly Conklin Media) is a fast-growing digital agency that helps companies across North America to grow using highly defined and profit focused digital marketing strategies. These strategies often include delivering messages through graphics, white papers, animations, video, interactive tools and more.
We’re looking for a detail-oriented individual to help our link building & SEO teams as we help our clients get more exposure and recognition online.
This position is a full time, approximately 40 hours per week at an average of 8 hours per day, Monday-Friday.
Please note that we require the individual in this role to match our office hours in the USA (Eastern Standard Time, EST). We are open 8:30AM-4:30PM EST, so the 8 hours per day that you work will need to happen somewhere in that timeframe (for example, 8:30AM-4:30PM EST, etc)
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
You will be in charge of specific link building projects that you will work on in collaboration with others on the link building & SEO team. Day to day work may include, but is not limited to:
– Categorizing emails by type of client
– Labeling websites by niche
– Organizing data in Google Sheets for reports
– Researching website data using tools like Ahrefs, Google scrapers, and more
– Respond to basic inbound email using provided templates as a guide
WHO YOU’LL BE WORKING WITH
Our team is made up of experienced coders, paid media experts, SEO strategists, PR outreach strategists, business growth consultants, conversion optimization specialists, writers, and more. We’ve been doing this successfully for years.
Day-to-day, you will be working with link building specialists to assist with various needs as they come up.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for someone with ideally at least 1 year of experience specifically with link building & outreach experience. If you do not have at least 1 year of experience, you may still apply but individuals with prior experience will be given greater consideration.
We are looking for a talented individual that have the following qualities and capabilities:
– Knows how to scrape contact information from website and craft a custom link building outreach campaign to pitch content ideas to journalists and website owners.
– Competent working in Excel or Google Sheets
– Strong attention to detail (can categorize information logically, notice errors and fix them, etc)
– Good written communication skills
– Willingness and eagerness to learn new skills
– Positive attitude
