Litigation Paralegal Personal Injury Law Firm

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our South Florida law firm remotely. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal team in handling personal injury cases.

Responsibilities:
– Drafting complaints, motions, orders, and discovery documents
– Assisting the locally licensed associate attorney with legal research and case preparation
– Scheduling depositions, mediations, and other case-related appointments
– Conducting factual investigations, gathering relevant information, and organizing case files
– Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in our case management software, Filevine (experience with Filevine is a plus)
– Collaborating with the legal team and supporting attorneys in all aspects of case management
– Assisting in the preparation of trial materials, exhibits, and trial notebooks

Requirements:
– Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on personal injury cases
– Demonstrated knowledge of litigation procedures, including drafting legal documents and managing case files
– Proficiency in legal research and the ability to analyze and summarize relevant information
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with exceptional attention to detail
– Ability to work independently and as a team player, collaborating effectively with attorneys and staff
– High level of accountability, reliability, and trustworthiness
– Proficiency in using Microsoft Office software and familiarity with case management software (Filevine experience is a plus)
