Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Loan Coordinator to join our team and support our loan officers in the loan origination process. You will coordinate and manage loan applications from start to finish, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for our clients. You must have prior experience in an office administrative position or do not apply.

To be successful in this role, you should have excellent English communication, organization, and analytical skills. You should be able to work independently, as part of a team, and handle multiple tasks and deadlines. You must have prior experience in an office administrative position.

Responsibilities:
• Assist loan officers with loan applications and documentation
• Gather, verify, and file loan application information and documents
• Monitor loan review status and follow up on any issues or missing information
• Communicate with clients, realtors, and other parties involved in the loan process, providing them with information and updates on the status of their loan applications
• Review loan applications and documentation to ensure they are complete and accurate, and verify the eligibility of applicants for loan options
• Prepare and assist with loan goal tracking reports and various other reports
• Work closely with loan officers and customers to ensure final loan requirements are met
• Coordinate with third-party vendors, such as appraisers, title companies, and insurance agents, to facilitate the delivery of services and documents required for loan approval and closing
• Maintain and update loan files and records, and ensure data entry is accurate and consistent
• Answer the telephone and respond to routine loan officer or customer inquiries
• Perform data entry tasks, such as email writing and tracking, spreadsheet creation and updating, filing of documentation in electronic storage, preparing Word documents, and researching through web

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software and data entry
• Excellent English – written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Previous experience in an office administrative position.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
