Job Summary

As a Loan Writer you will be responsible for preparing and organizing necessary documentation, ensuring all information is complete and accurate for seamless loan approvals. This role does not involve direct client interactions but is integral in liaising with banks, lenders, and valuers to maintain the flow of operations and meet strict deadlines. Your contribution will directly influence the efficiency of our loan processing cycle, requiring a detail-oriented and organised approach to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities
Document Management and Submission
Prepare and send necessary documentation related to loan processing.
Ensure all documents are collected, correctly filled out, and submitted within required timelines.
Data Entry and Fact-Finding
Input relevant data into our systems during the fact-finding phase to ensure all financial details are accurately captured.
Maintain organised records of all data to streamline the loan approval process.
Meeting Coordination and Administrative Support
Schedule and set up meetings involving various stakeholders in the loan process.
Manage general administrative duties to support the loan processing team.
Pricing and Regulations Compliance
Assist in determining appropriate pricing strategies for loan products.
Ensure all loan processes comply with current financial regulations and standards.
End-to-End Loan Processing
Oversee the loan process from initial application to final approval.
Coordinate with banks, lenders, and valuers to ensure all parties are informed and engaged throughout the process.
Financial Document Analysis
Read and analyse financial documents such as pay slips and company returns to assess loan viability.
Ensure accurate interpretation of financial data to support the decision-making process.

Requirements
At least 3 years of experience in loan processing, demonstrating thorough knowledge of loan procedures and documentation.

Desirable
Preferably 5 years of experience in loan writing and processing, with a proven track record of managing complex loan portfolios.

Software Expertise
Proficient in Adobe Acrobat for document handling.
Experience with SalesTrekker CRM preferred, to manage client information and interactions.
Skilled in the full Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, for various administrative and documentation tasks.

Education Requirement
Must possess a tertiary qualification in finance, business, or a related field, providing a solid foundation for understanding financial processes and client management.
