Local SEO Expert

We’re a growing US-based marketing consultancy that focuses on local businesses in the home services industry. We’re looking for an incredibly driven local SEO expert who can help us scale to service more clients.

The role…

You will work closely with the SEO project lead helping them ensure that we help improve the rankings of all of our clients.

This means you’ll be:

1. Building local citations
2. Doing competitor analysis and link prospecting to find new link opportunities for our clients
3. Performing blogger outreach with our proven templates so we can acquire new links for our clients
4. Uploading blog content into WordPress for clients
5. Building monthly reports for clients based on our templates

This will be a 30-40 hour per week role with starting pay ranging from $8-$15/hour. We’re looking for someone who will partner and grow with us long-term. Our vision is that the person in this role hones their skills and grows into more responsibilities and has uncapped income potential.

You’re a fit for this role if you…

1. Have at least 2 years of experience with local SEO

2. Have ranked businesses in Google and can prove it

3. Have incredible follow-through (and do anything it takes to make sure projects are done on time, you have what you need, and the owners of the company are always informed of the status of projects). We will not work well together if you aren’t able to respond within 24 hours on business days or keep track of your responsibilities (we have ClickUp to help you with this).

4. Include a 1-2 minute voice recording along with your application that explains why you’re the best fit for the job. This is a requirement to apply. If you don’t include this, or include an old recording you have used previously for other job applications, your application will be deleted.

5. Have incredible attention to detail–checking our project management software (ClickUp) every week day and making sure you don’t miss deadlines or critical details for projects.

6. You communicate proactively–we are looking for someone who comes to us with problems getting in the way of their work, ideas they have for clients or process improvement, and more. If we have to chase you down to get details on where projects stand, this won’t work out.
