Skills Required:

• Excellent English (both written and spoken)
• Proficiency in local SEO and Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business) management
• Proficiency in the Shopify platform with experience in creating, editing, and publishing blog posts.
• Knowledge of local SEO strategies and tools
• Flexibility with working hours
• Minimum 2 years experience in SEO writing and editing
• Proficiency in SEO tools (e.g., Jasper, SurferSEO, Ahrefs, SemRush, etc)
• Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation tools
• Ability to research and create content that answers local search queries
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Technical Requirements:

• Laptop/Computer with a 64-bit processor (Windows or Mac)
• Fast and reliable internet connection

Job Roles Include:

• Creating and uploading local-focused content on our Shopify website (Click to view)
• Editing website content, images, and SEO factors
• Managing and optimizing our Google Business Profile (GBP)
• Conducting keyword, blog-related, and market research
• Ensuring all content is SEO-optimized and current
• Creating 2-3 blog posts and local articles weekly
• Running plagiarism checks and revising content as needed
• Including relevant images and media to enhance articles
• Writing and optimizing meta descriptions to boost click-through rates
