Local SEO Strategist // Manager

Job Description:

We are looking for a Local SEO Strategist to join our small, boutique agency. We are focused on helping local businesses grow their presence in local search and Google Maps. We are very hands-on and you’ll be working very closely with our lead SEO. If you have a proven track record of increasing local search results for businesses, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

– Conduct Comprehensive Website Audits: Auditing websites for technical issues, errors, and opportunities is a critical part of the SEO process as it sets the foundation and path moving forward. These audits should be very detailed and include actionable recommendations regarding: Competition, On-page, Off-page, Technical, and Local (GBP).
– SEO Strategy and Planning: Establish a detailed strategy for each business based on its current online presence, goals, and the competition in its niche. The Strategy should include detailed recommendations for a 6-month/12-month SEO Campaign, broken down by what should be done each month.
– Monitor and Track Results: Create and maintain a process for tracking the results of our SEO efforts. Report results in a clear fashion so they can be shared with clients.

Qualifications Required:

– Extensive Local SEO Background: Proven expertise in Local SEO, supported by a portfolio that showcases successful local search campaigns.
– SEO Best-Practices: In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, Google’s algorithms, and local search ranking factors.
– SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures): Must have standardized processes and procedures to apply to local seo projects that incorporate SEO best practices.
– SEO Tools: A master of key SEO software and tools such as Google Analytics, Ahrefs, ScreamingFrog, RankMath, and more.
– Strong Communication Skills: Clear communication is key, even when the message you’re delivering isn’t good news.
Analytical Mind: Analyzing SEO data and leveraging insights to refine strategies for optimum outcomes is very important.
