Location: Remote (CET time, 8/9 to 5/6PM CET)
Terms: 3 years full-time contract
Salary/rate: 800 USD and bonus (100USD, 200USD or 300USD a month) depending on targets reached
Reporting to: Pricing Manager
Requirements:
– Bachelor degree or Master degree
– At least 3 to 5 years work experience at a freight forwarder or international mover in pricing, logistic coordination, or vendor related position.
– Excellent computer skills (excel, word, ideally databases, others)
– Super reliable when it comes to data computing, EXTREMELY LOW mistake levels.
– Great communication skills
– Experience within freight forwarding, international moves, or supply chain industry
– Vendors, data, and database management experience (preferred)
– Be able to work well under pressure, daily.
About the role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistic coordinator & pricer to join our dynamic team. As a Pricing Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in preparing accurate pricing and proposals for our customers. While not directly facing customers, your collaboration with the sales team is essential to ensure seamless communication and understanding of customer requirements. Your main responsibility will be to streamline the pricing process, working towards the goal of providing instant quotes by the end of the year.
As an Pricing specialist your main responsibility is to provide competitive quotations within a 24Hour period after receiving the RFQ from sales. You should maintain a high level of quality and achieve no less than 100?curacy in your quoting after 30 days.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Collaborate with global vendors (freight forwarders, movers, trucking companies) to obtain accurate and up-to-date cost information and customs information.
B. Prepare detailed and accurate pricing and proposals for international moves.
C. Optimize and streamline the pricing process to increase efficiency.
D. Collaborate closely with the sales team, providing necessary information for customer interactions.
E. Actively contribute to the development of databases and pricing tools for instant quotes.
– An important task will also consist in conducting market research to develop competitive yet sustainable pricing guidelines
