Job Description

Little Ripples is an Australian wine brand that gives a year of clean water to someone in need for every bottle sold and we’re looking for a highly skilled Logistics Manager to join the team!

The majority of our business is e-commerce/direct to consumer and we’re searching for someone to help us better manage our current 3PL and review their performance/costs, find additional 3PL’s in strategic locations and assist the company with optimizing efficiency, reducing costs (freight and warehouse), and reducing delivery times to customers for an overall great experience.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain processes. The Logistics Manager will play a crucial role in optimizing efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring timely delivery of goods to our customers.

Responsibilities:
– 3PL management
– Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize efficiency and minimize costs.
– Oversee transportation operations, including negotiating contracts, selecting carriers, and managing freight rates.
– Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and goods.
– Manage inventory levels and warehouse operations to meet customer demand and minimize stockouts.
– Analyze data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistics processes.
– Ensure compliance with regulations and standards governing transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
– Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.

Requirements:
– Proven experience in logistics/3PL management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
– Strong understanding of transportation, warehousing, and inventory management principles.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
– Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
