Job Description

We are looking for a Logistics Analyst to join our growing Global Logistics team to support the day-to-day operation and play a key role in establishing new trade lanes in line with our growth strategy. 2San is a global distributor of medical device products falling into three categories: Clean, Protect, Test. We source products across the world to service our three markets of UK & Europe, North America and APAC (predominantly Australia).

The Global Logistics team is responsible for managing the movement of products from wherever they are manufactured and delivering them to each of the regions in a way that balances Quality, Cost, Delivery and Sustainability. We work with reputable freight forwarding partners to provide a seamless service to each of the regions, maximising opportunities to improve efficiency as we scale our international logistics network. The team is results driven and relies on strong technical expertise as well as an ability to work proactively to solve problems on a daily basis. We are maturing our processes and systems in preparation for future increases in volume. This role will be responsible for completing core operational processes, with a strong focus on quality of data and reporting to provide insight into and assurance over supply chain activities.

Key Result Area – Strategy
* Support the delivery of the 2024 Logistics Strategy, in particular building our system capabilities and reporting / analytics using Microsoft BC and eQMS.
* Processes deployed on BC and eQMS with partial integration to third party systems.

Key Result Area – Operations
* Logistics requirements gathering for international shipments and completing RFQs / tenders with freight forwarders to select appropriate provider for each shipment.
* Data gathering and analysis relating to all products for freight estimation and historic spend insights.
* Operating core logistics processes in line with SOPs and storing key documents in relevant systems (BC and eQMS).to ensure full system traceability of activities.
* Managing the import / export for all international shipments by gathering required documents for customs & regulatory clearance working with suppliers & freight forwarding partners.
* Supporting global insurance claims management by gathering documentation / information related to any active insurance claims and acting as central coordination point between relevant 2San teams and broker / loss adjuster.
* Gathering logistics data relating to global shipments and reporting against agreed KPIs on a regular basis (e.g. OTIF, unit costs, ?mages).
* Gathering insights and reporting on the global logistics industry and any major events / risks that have the potential to disrupt planned or future shipments across sea / air freight.
* Activities completed within timelines stipulated in SOPs and in line with system requirements.
* Logistics spend remains in budget.
* Strong relationships built and maintained with product suppliers and freight forwarding partners.
* Visibility over all active and historic insurance claims and financial impact.
* Visibility over status of logistics activities and performance against operational KPIs.
* Clear communication of global supply chain trends / risks.

Skills and Experience
Experience managing international supply chain operations including import / export of goods into multiple geographies
Experience operating core supply chain processes in Microsoft BC system
Confident with data processing and analytics skills in excel. PowerBI reporting skills desired
Experience working with third party suppliers across multiple geographies to drive performance, including manufacturers and logistics providers
