Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team and assist in the freight forwarding aspects of our business. This position is initially part-time with the potential to transition into a full-time role as our operations evolve.

Responsibilities:

Freight Management:
Coordinate and manage the transportation of goods for multiple clients.
Oversee freight forwarding operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.
Develop and maintain relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners.
Logistics Expertise:
Possess in-depth knowledge of logistics processes, including but not limited to ocean shipping, air shipping, and other modes of transportation.
Analyze and optimize logistics procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
Stay abreast of industry trends and regulations related to freight and logistics.
Client Collaboration:
Work closely with clients to understand their specific logistics requirements.
Provide expert advice and solutions to optimize clients’ supply chain and logistics operations.
Documentation and Compliance:
Ensure accurate and complete documentation for all shipments.
Stay informed about international trade regulations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics management.
Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing logistics operations.
Knowledge:
Comprehensive understanding of freight forwarding, logistics, and supply chain management.
Familiarity with various modes of transportation, including ocean shipping and air shipping.
Communication Skills:
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and team members.
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
Proactive approach to identifying and resolving logistics challenges.
