Job Title: Freight Broker Cold Caller

Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to join our team as a Cold Caller focused on connecting with shippers within the freight industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to initiate outbound calls to potential shippers, effectively communicate our freight brokerage services, and establish connections to expand our client base.

Responsibilities:
1. Cold call potential shippers to introduce our freight brokerage services and value proposition.
2. Identify and qualify leads, determining their shipping needs, challenges, and potential opportunities for collaboration.
3. Engage in professional and persuasive conversations to promote our brokerage services, aiming to secure new business partnerships.
4. Maintain accurate records of calls, prospects, and interactions in the CRM system.
5. Build and nurture relationships with shippers by understanding their requirements and providing relevant information about our services.
6. Collaborate with the sales team to strategize and align efforts for achieving business growth goals.
7. Stay updated with industry trends, market insights, and competitor activities to leverage in sales conversations.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience in cold calling, preferably within the freight brokerage or logistics industry.
2. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and influence potential clients over the phone.
3. Excellent negotiation and persuasive abilities to articulate value propositions effectively.
4. Understanding of freight logistics, shipping, and supply chain operations is advantageous.
5. Proficiency in using CRM software or related tools for lead management and documentation.
6. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
7. Adaptability and resilience to handle rejection and objections professionally during cold calling.
8. High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus.
