As an In-Home Furniture Delivery Router, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our products timely and efficient delivery to customers’ homes.

Job Description:
We seek a detail-oriented and organized In-Home Furniture logistics specialist to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating the scheduling and routing of furniture deliveries, optimizing delivery routes, and ensuring that our customers receive their purchases in a seamless and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate daily furniture delivery routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with delivery drivers, warehouse staff, and customer service representatives to ensure accurate and on-time deliveries.
• Utilize routing software and tools to plan and optimize delivery routes based on delivery windows, traffic conditions, and customer preferences.
• Monitor and track delivery progress throughout the day, addressing any unforeseen delays or issues that may arise.
• Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure that orders are accurately prepared and loaded onto delivery trucks.
• Maintain accurate records of delivery routes, driver schedules, and customer delivery preferences.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns regarding delivery schedules and expectations.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to manage delivery changes, reschedules, and cancellations as needed.
• Continuously evaluate and improve routing processes to enhance delivery efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Stay informed about local traffic patterns, road closures, and other factors that may impact delivery routes.
• Assist in training new delivery drivers on routing procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in logistics or related field is a plus).
• Proven experience in route planning, logistics coordination, or related field.
• Familiarity with routing software and tools, such as GPS navigation and route optimization software.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with drivers, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt to changing delivery situations.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
• Proficiency in using computer software and systems for tracking and record-keeping.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure during peak delivery times.
• Prior experience in the furniture or home delivery industry is a plus.
