We are an animation studio specializing in custom motion graphics and design.
We are in need of a superstar video editor to help with our new product offer, template-based logo animations at an inexpensive price point. You are coming in at the beginning so we’ll need help building and putting together the resources before we even launch.
As a rockstar video editor, you will handle:
– Helping scrape the internet for stock and template video graphics. Sites such as Envato Elements and Storyblocks.
– Choosing the top 30 to start and putting together sample versions using our own logo to show on the website.
– Once the idea is launched your day-to-day will be editing new logos into different templates for new clients.
– Early on you may be in charge of some administrative tasks. Each new project you will be given the logo ai files, the template they choose, the resolution format, and possibly 4K resolution upgrade. Once the logo file is complete two versions will be upload one with music and the other without.
– Must be fast and efficient in video editing. This should take 1-2 hours max per project (could discuss this further).
– Delivering the projects into a shared Google Drive folder for review then someone from our side will delegate with the client.

80% – Video Editing and working with new clients.
20% – Finding new video templates, helping with admin tasks and general ad hoc tasks.
Role Requirements:
– Proven experience as a video editor, especially in animation and logo integration.
– Ability to work with various animation templates and customize them as per client requirements.
– Advanced knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
– Experience in creating and editing animations.
– Must be proficient in colour grading, jump cutting, and ways to improve and sync audio files.
– Must edit in Final Cut Pro or Premiere.
– Basic understanding of graphic design principles.
– Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator for logo manipulation and design adjustments.
– Must be creative and can handle many projects at once.
– Must be able to follow steps and understand client requirements.
– Must have a fast and reliable computer and internet connection (16gb RAM).
Role Duties Include:
– This is a part-time position to start (around 10-20 hours per week) with more hours as necessary.
– High-level English and written communication.
– Report to managing director.
– Ability to creatively customize and enhance templates to meet client specifications.
– Must be able to work on many projects at once and know how to prioritize and meet deadlines.
– Creative and goal originated.
– Able to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
– Assist and support with ad hoc tasks as required.
