Looking for a motivated and experienced Textile Inventory Coordinator!!

Job Brief:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Textile Purchaser to research and identify suppliers, manage relationships with suppliers, negotiate and purchase fabric, manage inventory levels, and resell excess inventory. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong analytical skills, and an in-depth knowledge of textiles and the fabric industry.

Responsibilities:
• Research potential suppliers and build a strong network of relationships with them
• Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms with suppliers to ensure the best value for the organization
• Purchase fabrics according to company requirements, ensuring that the quality and specifications meet the necessary standards
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, manage stock levels to avoid stockouts and excess inventory, and resell excess inventory
• Monitor supplier performance and take corrective actions when necessary to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards
• Keep up to date with market trends and developments in the textile industry, and make recommendations to the CEO on potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities
• Collaborate with the production team to ensure that fabric is available as needed and that lead times are minimized
• Ensure that all purchasing activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders such as merchandisers, and production managers to understand their fabric needs and ensure that they are met
• Provide exceptional customer service across multiple communication channels, including phone, email, and online channels
• Continuously evaluate the supplier base to optimize supplier performance, costs, and quality.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or any related field.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of work experience in Sales Inventory or any related field.
• Speaks both English and Tagalog and Mandarin preferred.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of textiles and the fabric industry.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to meet with suppliers and production team when required.

This is a full-time position, the salary is negotiable and subject to performance-based increases. We love giving out discretionary performance BONUSES!
