Looking for a Part-Time Web Designer

We are a growing tech company based in the US that is seeking a talented and motivated web designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites that deliver an excellent user experience. At times, you’ll be creating a branding process for a project, so a piece of knowledge on brand marketing is a must.

Responsibilities

– Collaborating with clients and stakeholders to understand their design needs and requirements.
– Evaluating website analytics to make data-driven design decisions.
– Creating wireframes, prototypes, and design mockups.
– Maintaining the overall look and feel of a website, including branding and corporate identity.
– Implementing and testing web pages for compatibility with various browsers and devices.
– Collaborating with front-end developers to ensure the website functions as designed.
– Creating and designing HTML email templates for newsletters.
– Staying up-to-date with emerging design software and technologies.
– A fundamental understanding of technical SEO is necessary for designers so they can design websites that meet the technical standards set by search engines.

Requirements

– Do not say “Yes” all the time and provide their valuable opinion
– Able to produce high-quality, competitive, and standard corporate output
– Able to become independent at their work, with less oversight from their manager
– [IMPORTANT] Professional working proficiency in the English language is required so that you can convey your design ideas to your colleagues and manager.
– With 3+ years of working experience in design and marketing-related fields
– Three (3) character references from their previous clients

Technical Skills

– Figma (the applicant must know how to prototype)
– Adobe Products (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD)
– Google Products (Google Docs, Sheet, Meet, and Calendar)
– Project Management Tools (Asana or Jira)
– Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and an understanding of how to design for development
