We’re seeking a creative Video Editor with a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in enhancing our video content. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining a consistent and polished style across our videos.
Responsibilities:
-Edit videos to remove pauses, enhance audio quality, and ensure seamless transitions
-Incorporate graphics and visual elements to elevate video content
-Maintain a consistent and polished style across all videos
-Create engaging infographics and other creative content for downloads and print materials
-Transform long-form videos into concise and impactful quick takes for social media platforms
-Collaborate with the team to understand platform-specific editing -requirements for social media vs. course videos
-Ensure accuracy and professionalism in content representation
-Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in video editing and visual storytelling
Qualifications:
-A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing your skills
-Proficient in video editing software and techniques.
-Experience in creating compelling infographics and visual content
-Familiarity with different video formats and editing requirements for various platforms, including social media
-Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics
-Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a creative team
-Excellent communication skills to understand and execute editing preferences accurately
-Flexibility to adapt to different editing styles and content types
-Prior experience with video editing for educational or informative content (preferred, but not required)
This is a project based at the start but regular work awaits the right person. Working hours are flexible, as long as you deliver on or before the deadline.
