This is a flexible part-time (~5- 10 hours/week), ongoing employment. Hours will vary based on business requirements. Long term if you progress in the role you will also take on more responsibility & the hours will increase.
What does it involve?
Managing our Supply Chain
– Communication
– Suppliers = placing Purchase Orders, negotiation, quotes
– Forwarders = getting quotes, booking shipments
– Warehouses = arranging inbound & outbound shipments
– Purchase Order Management
– Creating documents, calculating costs
– Shipment Management
– Planning shipments, creating shipping plans, generating labels
– Comparing quotes, Booking shipments
– Tracking shipments
– Monitoring & Tracking
– Keeping internal spreadsheets up to date, organized & accurate
– Data analysis
– Tracking and analyzing key metrics
Pay Rate
Your pay rate will reflect your results & past experience
Pay range = $5- 8 /hr
