Looking for Bookkeeper/Accountant

Dansons Medical is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Bookkeeping Accountant to join our team. As a vital member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. Key Responsibilities:
1. Reconciliation:
– Monthly reconciliation of financial records to ensure accuracy with bank accounts and payout accounts, including Shopify, Paypal, eBay, Walmart, and others.
– Timely identification and resolution of discrepancies in financial transactions.

2. Budgeting and KPI Management:
– Collaborate with the team to develop and manage budgets effectively.
– Monitor and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess the financial health of the company and identify areas for improvement.

3. Financial Advisory:
– Provide valuable insights and suggestions to help the organization meet its financial goals.
– Identify cost-saving opportunities and strategies to optimize tax liabilities.

4. Financial Reporting:
– Prepare and distribute regular financial reports to inform decision-making processes.
– Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

5. Tax Compliance:
– Prepare and maintain financial records to ensure they are ready for annual tax filings.
– Stay up-to-date with changes in tax regulations and ensure adherence to US Tax Law.

Work Experience Requirements:
– Must have 1+ years past experience working for a CPA firm or being an accountant or bookkeeper for business.

Other Requirements:
– MUST be very knowledgeable about US tax laws for businesses, especially pertaining to small e-commerce businesses.
– Being a CPA is a huge PLUS, but not required
– Proven Experience in Quickbooks Online
– Advanced Excel Skills
– Advanced skills with forecasting and financial data modeling is a PLUS but not required

Working Hours:
– 15 hours/week
– Flexible hours as long as you are available to communicate during EST work hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
