Looking for Online AP Math Tutor

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Math Tutor to join our team on a part-time basis, providing online tutoring to small groups of students. Our focus is on delivering high-quality instruction in Advanced Placement (AP) math subjects to enhance our students’ learning experience and academic performance.

Responsibilities:

Conduct engaging online tutoring sessions in AP Precalculus, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC to small groups of up to 6 students.
Be available for tutoring sessions from 6 to 9 PM Pacific Standard Time (PST), Monday to Friday.
Prepare and deliver instructional materials and exercises tailored to students’ needs and curriculum standards.
Provide additional support through recording educational videos, creating practice problems, and answering student questions on our forum.
Monitor and report on students’ progress, providing feedback to students and parents as needed.
Collaborate with our team to continuously improve the tutoring program and student learning outcomes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching Math, particularly in the subjects of AP Precalculus, AP Statistics, AP Calculus AB, and AP Calculus BC.
Strong understanding of AP curriculum and exam requirements.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in an online learning environment.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs and learning styles of diverse student groups.
Reliable internet connection and proficiency with online teaching platforms and tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field is preferred.
