Looking for someone to help with Social Media Management and Graphic Design creation for a Mosque

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative individual to join our team as a Social Media Manager and Graphic Designer for our mosque. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our social media platforms and creating visually appealing graphic designs that effectively communicate the message and values of our mosque.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement a social media strategy to promote the mosque’s activities, events, and initiatives

-Manage and maintain the mosque’s social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube

-Create engaging and shareable content for social media posts, including text, images, and videos

-Monitor social media trends, analyze engagement metrics, and adjust strategies accordingly to increase reach and effectiveness

-Interact with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner

-Collaborate with mosque staff and volunteers to gather information, photos, and videos for social media content

-Design visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including posters, flyers, banners, and infographics

-Ensure all graphic designs adhere to the mosque’s branding guidelines and represent the mosque’s values and mission accurately

-Stay up-to-date with design trends, tools, and software to continuously improve the quality of graphic designs

Qualifications:

-Proven experience in managing social media platforms and implementing successful social media strategies

-Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva

-Strong understanding of social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices for engagement

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create compelling content

-Creativity and an eye for detail to design visually appealing graphics

-Knowledge of Islamic culture, traditions, and values is preferred

-Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously

-Basic photography and videography skills are a plus
