About the Role:
We are finishing a portion of our tracking application and the other side of the map is with our client and admin application. The client and admin need to be reviewed to ensure we are using the best possible solution and have API’s replaced based on your opinion as well as ours but we want Google API’s gone. We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with experience in Bubble and Mapbox to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing our existing tracking application, implementing weather alerts, and developing an algorithm to predict factors that could cause a truck to be late based on live route conditions. This role will also involve API integration, performance optimization, and the creation of a demo to showcase these enhancements.
Responsibilities:
Review and understand the current state of our tracking application built on Bubble using Mapbox.
Implement weather alerts using appropriate APIs.
Develop an algorithm to predict factors that could cause a truck to be late based on live route conditions.
Identify, integrate, and test necessary APIs to enhance the functionality of the application.
Evaluate the performance of Mapbox for our specific use case and advise on potential alternatives, such as HERE Maps.
Address performance issues, specifically focusing on reducing long loading periods.
Implement a solution for the vehicle routing problem.
Create a comprehensive demo to showcase the new features and improvements.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer.
Strong experience with Bubble and Mapbox is essential.
Knowledge of HERE Maps is a plus.
Proficiency in API integration and performance optimization.
Experience in developing predictive algorithms and handling real-time data.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical details to a non-technical audience.
