Are you detail-oriented, organized, strong with numbers, and you love marketing strategies? We are looking for an experienced Marketing and Sales Operations Specialist to join our growing team. As Marketing Ops Specialist, you are responsible for managing National Key Accounts which include Sales / Marketing / Business Planning / Trade Promotion Management. You will be downloading many sales data and performing sales analysis. You will be flexing your planning and forecasting skills based on historical sales data and new marketing initiatives. You need to be a Self-Starter and have the ability to work independently and proactively.

WORKING HOURS:
– The position is 100% remote work, which allows for flexibility, but you must have a relatively good working environment where you can work quietly and uninterrupted.
– US PST time zone, Monday to Friday.
– Paid probationary period (2 to 8 weeks), during which your performance will be evaluated.
– Paid US holidays and internet after 90 days
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Account Manager Support:
• Support National Key Account Management
• Manage initiation of product promotions in the retail stores
• Maintain and coordinate key account product review and promotional calendar
• Oversees the status of negotiation through broker and/or company.
• Maintain thorough understanding of customer requirements and build effective relationships with customers
• Oversee expense management and efficiency, including demonstration budget and ROI review on all expenses
• Support sales strategy and market penetration plan to achieve sales target for the product categories
• Support the distributor contracting processes, booking/ticketing violation investigation, and various distributor management and administration duties
• Audit and oversee B2B web portal
• New sales area expansion according to company’s direction
• Forecast initial volume for new products by working with the sales team and summarize inventory as needed
Data Analysis and Reporting
• Monitor weekly sales, review monthly sales, and forecast yearly demands per sales channel and product categories
• Create monthly review of key account performance and activities
• Complie and analyze sales data
• Use sales data to analyze trends in sku and customer performance (promotions, shipment history, new item launches, cannibalization, sku rationalization etc)
• Use of historical sales trends, research demand drivers.
• Process and analyze weekly customer data (Scans, Depletions, Inventory)
• Create and maintain various sales and channel-management-related reporting and analysis, prepare budgets
• Oversee general price structure of the items and apply into P&L structure
Sales and Marketing Admin Support
• Coordinate and provide administrative support for Sales and Marketing functions
• Research and develop in-store sales & marketing promotion strategy for products
• Maintaining various marketing communication materials, including presentations, handouts, newsletters, and digital assets
• Create sales marketing materials: sales product resources, collateral, and other sales media
• Arrange meetings and business travels
• Tradeshow events-responsible for tradeshow research, support and logistics, and brand ambassador program.
• Work closely with Marketing, Operations, and Social Media to develop to increase company sales volume.
• Assisting with streamlining internal processes to develop consistent and timely materials
• Any other sales and marketing and administrative duties as directed
• Support other operations staff and provide backup when necessary
• Assist with ad hoc reports or other responsibilities as assigned
• Maintain positive, professional communication at all levels.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have 2 years of related experience (sales, analysis, B2B Marketing, etc.) or any equivalent combination of education and experience
• 2 to 3 years of experience in Sales / Marketing / Business Planning / Trade Promotion Management in CPG industry
• Detail-oriented, organized, and strong with numbers
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
• Strong sales planning, forecasting, and sales execution experience
• Self-Starter: must have ability to work independently and proactively
• Ability to accomplish tasks in a timely manner and meet deadlines
• Excellent PC skills with MS Office (Word, Excel/VBA, PowerPoint, Teams)
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS (FOR HIGHER PAY CONSIDERATIONS):
• Sales / Account Management experience in consumer package goods within food/beverage industry
• Experience working with grocery store chain
• Familiar with syndicated data (SPINS, Nielsen/IRI, etc)
• Experience with CRM systems
