Marketing Assistant

Merrill Insurance is a U.S. based insurance agency looking for a skilled marketing assistant and graphic designer. This role would work directly with our Brand Manager to create and schedule content for our internal team and external marketing efforts. Daily communication is key in this role as they will be working alongside their U.S. based supervisor.

• Social Media Assistance
Linkedin, Facebook, Instagram, X
Create and schedule posts for all social media platforms for Merrill Insurance and Roofing Insurance Group, as well as help with creating Linkedin content for producers.
• Graphic Design
Design visuals for social media posts and any other marketing materials.
• Slideshow / Presentation Creation:
Monthly All-Staff slideshows, presentations for producers, training, etc.
• Video Editing
Make initial rough edits to video content.
• Website Maintenance
Regularly update website content including blogs, testimonials, and other relevant information.
• Data Entry
Enter leads from events and do initial scrub of Excel lead lists to ensure they are formatted correctly for upload.
• Assistance on Events / Projects
Create social media posts, graphic designs, and emails for the event, and assist with minor research tasks.

Skills Required
• Strong English and Communication Skills – written and verbal
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Strong Work Ethic
• Strong Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Suite
• Canva
• Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere
• Facebook / Twitter / LinkedIn / Instagram and with Schedulers

Job Requirements
• Must provide your own full-workstation to meet role expectations
• 20 hours a week with opportunity to grow (M-F, 11am – 3pm EST)
• Pay will be sent via TransferWise on a bi-weekly basis. Time will be tracked via TopTracker application that must be downloaded to the Desktop.
